My Etsy Bestie

My friend, Kristi, whom I met on Etsy, is having a birthday this weekend.  Wish I could celebrate with her, but we have to settle for a virtual celebration.  Kristi and I talk via email and phone almost daily, and we often send links of items we love (and don't love!) back and forth on Etsy.  Here is a collection of items Kristi has sent to me that she loves, as well as some other items that I think are her taste!  Doesn't she have great taste?!  The gorgeous Owl handmade coptic bound journal is from Kristi's shop.  For the most fabulous handmade journals, you must check her out @ TheNibandQuill on Etsy!

My newest treasury

Ok.  So I've been very busy this morning, trying to keep up with the teams I've joined on etsy, and I've created this new treasury, which is a celebration of feminine beauty.  If you are a woman, you will find so many beautiful items in the shops featured in this treasury, so it's really worth clicking the link below!  Here it is, as well as a sneak peek:  http://www.etsy.com/treasury/MTE2NjEwOTB8MzI4MzMzOTA5/femininity?ref=pr_treasury

Baby Blanket

Here's a new baby blanket I just made.  ( I get lots of crocheting done when I'm not feeling well.  There's nothing else to do, huh?)  This is made of the SOFTEST yarn I've ever used, Bernat Baby Breath.  It is trimmed in Red Heart Baby Clouds, which is super soft, but not my favorite because it's too fluffy and I can't see my stitches.  But I think it gave the blanket a good looking border.  This blanket is listed in my etsy shop of course!  http://www.etsy.com/shop/suefern643.

New Crochet Easter Bunny

I just created another version of the crochet Easter bunny.  This time, I followed more closely the colors listed in the original pattern, but I changed the dress a little, and added a "hair" bow that was my own design!  I also put buttons on for eyes and nose, and added a pretty bow on the dress with a button center.  I'm really enjoying making stuffed animals!  She's for sale in my etsy shop:  http://www.etsy.com/shop/suefern643.
